In line with its company growth, the client is looking for highly qualified and dedicated professional to be part of its winning team as: "Logistic Officer"
The incumbent will report to The Logistic & Distribution Manager and be responsible mainly for coordinating and executing the activities of warehouse, inventory, custom clearance, and delivery of goods in accordance with the needs of the business.
Major activities :
- Gathering information on inventory levels (stock levels), perform periodic inventory taking and analyzing the amount and type of goods in the warehouse to control the accuracy of inventory data in all warehouse area.
- Keep tract of stock using SAP system, and provide related logistic reports to the management.
- Plan and coordinate the delivery of goods from distributors and / or warehouses, including determining the expedition and the route, to ensure the delivery done in a timely and efficiently manner.
- Receive and process the demand for goods from all distributors, and control the delivery of goods from warehouses, according to the timing, quantity and quality including the quality control to minimize product damage received.
- Develop and maintain the logistics cost of operations to run efficiently and effectively within the budget.
- Monitor shipping documents and custom process
- Close co-ordination/follow up on incoming and outgoing shipments/delivery with suppliers, forwarders and internal/external customers
- Assist in any other aspects of logistics operations as assigned
- Handle general admin duties inclusive filing, generate reports, etc
- Having at least 3 years experience in the inventory/distribution/warehousing preferably from pharmaceutical or medical device company.
- Holding a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy would be a significant advantage
- Able to Maintain Merchandising Issues: Ordering, Distribution, Shipment Schedules, etc.
- Able to Maintain Logistic Issues: Coordinating Delivery Products, Manage the Warehouse System, Day to Day Activities.
- Good in problem solving skill especially in warehouse and logistic problems.
- Having a wide experience and strong warehouse management skills.
- Good English in written and verbal communication.
- Have ability to interact and able to communicate well with all departments: Sales, Marketing, Finance and other related department.
- Hard worker, good team player as well as to work independently
- Good proficiency in spoken and written English
- Computer literate (MS Office) and be familiar with SAP system
